THE JOB
We showed up that afternoon with the grinder and got to work on the two big oaks first. Those took the most time — about 25 minutes each with the root flare grinding. The three pines went quick, maybe 15 minutes each. Pines are softer wood so the grinder chews through them fast. The two small ones near the fence took about 10 minutes combined.
Total time on-site was right around 2.5 hours from setup to cleanup. We raked the grindings back into each hole, leveled everything off, and left the yard clean and ready for grass seed or sod.
